Fall protection systems
The term ‘working at height' applies to any work where people find themselves at 2.5 metres or higher. Because this presents a risk, protective measures must be taken. The work station and the type of work can be very varied. That is why good fall protection is necessary. But when has appropriate fall protection been provided?
Standard solutions are often insufficient in the field. This is because total safety and objectiveness can only be achieved in relation to the working environment if there is also optimum wearing comfort and freedom of movement is retained. The goal is for the work to be carried out safely and without problems.
That is why purchasing just any protection device will not ensure you of optimum protection. All the problems at the work station, including the human factor, must be accurately analysed and solved. This can be very complex.
The solution is sometimes staring you in the face. But it can also be the case that only an automatic 3-dimensional system will suffice.
